Romans is one of the most important theological documents in human history. Written by the Apostle Paul, Romans offers fundamental insight into the human condition. Humans were created in the image of God, to bear His image to the world.
But then, as one commentator puts it, mankind made the fatal exchange. Paul says that humans have “exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served created things rather than the creator.”
Romans is about man’s rebellion and God’s remedy. It is an invitation to follow Jesus into a new way to be human.
This series will explore Romans 1-8. Romans has a long history of disrupting the status quo and calling God’s people back to the power of God (Romans 1:16). We invite you to join us on this journey and to be expectant of how God will awaken us to our rebellion and change us by His power.
