Psalm 88 4.jpg

Oh Lord my God I cry, unto you day and night

Incline Your ear to me, let my prayer rise to Thee.

My soul is in despair. My life draws near to death.

I’m bought down to the pit, a man who has no strength. I cry to You.

Do You work wonders for the dead oh Lord?

Do the departed rise to praise You?

Is Your great love declared in death oh Lord?

Or Your wonders in the darkness?

Still I cry to You. Still I cry to You.

Have you forgotten me? In regions dark and deep?

I feel cut off from you. Your wrath lies heavy on me.

You’ve caused my friends to shun me. I am despised by them.

I’m trapped inside this horror. My drooping eyes grow dim. Hear my prayer.

Do You work wonders for the dead oh Lord?

Do the departed rise to praise You?

Is Your great love declared in death oh Lord?

Or Your wonders in the darkness?

Still I cry to You. Still I cry to You.

I weep now, helpless and alone. I weep now, weep now.

I weep now, my God where have you gone? I cry to you Lord!

Do You work wonders for the dead oh Lord?

Do the departed rise to praise You?

Is Your great love declared in death oh Lord?

Or Your wonders in the darkness?

Still I cry to You. Still I cry to You.
