Shielding Innocence

Shielding Innocence RSVP Header.jpg

Kelly Winkler and Caleb Grover are mental health counselors who together have 30 years of experience helping clients heal from childhood sexual harm and sexual abuse. They’ve created the Shielding Innocence Seminar because they wanted to take the healing they’ve seen as therapists and turn it into the prevention we need as parents. Their goal is to help prevent sexual harm by empowering parents to talk about sexual topics with their kids in an age appropriate manner.

At the upcoming Shielding Innocence Seminar we will cover:

  • How to have conversations about sexual topics in age appropriate ways

  • How to identify parenting blind spots that make those conversations and others hard for you to have

  • How to bless your child so they don’t need someone else to do it

  • How to create meaningful conversations so they bring their tough questions to you

  • How to talk with your child if they accidentally see something on the internet or if someone says something about them

  • How to teach body safety

  • How to talk about who can and cannot touch them

  • How a predator picks a child to abuse
