Why “CityWorship”?
We call it CityWorship because NewCity meets in [Home] Groups that join together in [Neighborhood] Communities all of whom gather for CityWorship.
NewCity meets weekly for CityWorship. At NewCity, we believe the church’s job is to equip the saints to do ministry. We like to think about it like this: “it’s not that some worship attendees need discipleship, but that disciples need a place to worship.” That is not to say that weekly worship is any less essential at NewCity than other churches, but that perspective helps inform and shape our values in CityWorship.
