City Kids Arrival and Check-In: What To Expect



When you arrive at NewCity for the first time with your children, the first place to visit is the CityKids Check-in table, which is located in our foyer. Look for the First Time Check in Station where you will sign your children into our electronic KidCheck system. Once you enter all of the required information, the system will print out a sticker label for your child along with a corresponding guardian receipt. The labels will have matching security codes, which will be used to verify your guardianship upon receipt of your child after the service.

Create a KidCheck Account

If you have time, please create a KidCheck account for your family prior to the service. This will expedite the check-in process on Sunday morning. CREATE ACCOUNT

    There is a private room designated for nursing moms inside the main auditorium.

    Safety

    You’ll be able to fully focus during City Worship knowing that your child is being taken care of in a safe and loving environment. All of our volunteers have been screened, complete with a background check. If your child is crying inconsolably, we will contact you via text message… just remember to keep your cell phone on vibrate and accessible.




    Nursery (0-2yrs)

    Childcare is provided for the entire service for children 0-2 yrs old. Children in these classes participate in age appropriate activities, simple songs, and Bible stories.

    Pre-K & Younger Elementary (3yrs-3rd Grade)

    CityKids provides two distinct environments for our preschool and younger elementary children. We believe both experiences are necessary elements in teaching, training, and growing our children in their love for Jesus and his Church.

    CityKids Bash! – 1st and 3rd Sundays
    The Bash is a high energy and fun filled worship service where children 3 years old-3rd grade participate in music and movement, crafts, games and engaging Bible lessons. The Bash takes place on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month during the entire worship service.

    CityKids Groups – 2nd, 4th, and 5th Sundays
    CityKids Groups meet on the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Sundays of each month. Children 3yrs old – 3rd grade begin the morning in the Worship Service with their families. Just before the sermon, the children are dismissed to CityKids Groups where they meet for age appropriate Bible study, song, and interactive learning actvities.

    G45 (4th and 5th Grade)

    G45 is our 4th and 5th grade ministry which meets on the same weeks as the Bash (1st and 3rd Sundays). These students initially go into the worship service with their families and are dismissed just before the sermon to G45 where they engage in meaningful, age appropriate small group Bible study.
